Re: Paul Gilbert- Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar

Well, I'll say right now, I can't stand Passion and Warfare. It just does nothing for me as it does anyone else. I'd take the entirety of Rachmaninoff's Prelude Op. 23 over it. Subsequently, I find Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar to be uninspiring as well.

Note, I am a huge Gilbert fan. I LOVE Alligator Farm, (best work IMHO). I love Fire Garden by Vai. Iono, I don't find P&W and SFbaDR to be... Inspiringly... Quite boring actually.

I like SFBADR but I agree with you about passion and warfare. Actually I feel that most of Steve Vai's stuff is disapointing. I love PG too, and I like the new stuff quite a bit but I think that GOOMY was better.

Best Buy. I did the deal where you buy it online, then pick it up at the store. When I got it, they had it on sale for $11.99 but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't ready, so they knock 10 bucks off - got SFBADR for $2!!
