The 2006 RMA Summer Guitar Workshop, with special guests Bumblefoot and Greg Howe, is now open for registration. You can check out the class schedule, prices, hotels etc. on the RMA's main site here:

http://www.raleighmusicacademy.com

If you have any questions, please contact me and I'll be glad to help you. I really hope that lots of guys can come out and enjoy such a very cool opportunity to interact and learn from such monster players and teachers.

Thanks,

I really don't know about recordings. That's always up to the artist. And, of course, sometimes when they are recorded, then don't want that particular bootleg to be released if they performed kind of poorly or the quality was bad etc. So we shall see how it goes...

Wow, cool! Too bad I don't live in Raleigh anymore. I knew I shouldn't have moved to CO. What's the music scene in Raleigh like these days? Denver pretty much blows, at least compared to what it was like there when I left in '98.

Even though I'm a musician in Raleigh, I'm not sure I know too much about the scene, so to speak. Some people tell me it's great, and some say it's awful. Hard to tell. I like to think these events we host make it a little bit cooler, but I'm biased. But I do try to bring in musicians who would otherwise hardly ever appear here.

Don't let living in CO hold you back though. Since yesterday, 2 people from Chicago and 1 from OK have signed up, so some people are definitely making the trek.
