Yes, indeed.

A very cool guy!!

Singer Robert Palmer, known for hits like "Addicted to Love", "Simply Irresistible" , and "Some like it hot" has died at 54 in Paris, France of a sudden heart attack.

Many will remember the "Addicted to Love" video with Palmer dressed sharply in a shirt and tie, singing in front of his "fake" band.......white face painted beautiful girls in super short black mini skirts.

Gone way too soon.

RIP

If this is a reference to the usual lifestyle associated with drunk and drugged up musicians , think again.

Palmer was known in the music biz as a "party pooper" as he was never into drugs or alcohol.

This death comes as more of a surprise than Johnny Cash, as Cash looked 25 yrs older than what he was, for the last 25 yrs.

Addicted to spuds?

It's weird when someone in seemingly perfect health up and dies like that. So *some* rumors have been spread.

Yes, it is sad. I wasn't a big fan, but I enjoyed his stuff when I heard it. For a approximately half of all people with heart disease, the first symptom is a sudden, fatal heart attack. 54 is WAY too young!
