anyone ever hear of this bass player? He is really good and I just learned about him and then my dad tells me he was over at my house once and my dad even ate lunch with him. This guy is really good though, i hope he comes over again so this time i'll know who he is and i can get an autograph and maybe some tips on my upright bass playing

He is one of the jazz bassists, played with the best of the best. Amazing musician.

I recommend checking him out with Miles Davis (Miles Smiles, Filles de Kilimanjaro), McCoy Tyner (Trident, Atlantis), Wayne Shorter (Speak no Evil), as well as on both the VSOP albums.
