30 SEPT - since, the rumors are already flyin', I might as well say... I was asked to join Guns-n-Roses two months ago. It's not definitely happenin', we're just feelin' it out. When decisions have been made, I'll let y'all know

No, he was not asked to join GNR. GNR died many moons ago. He was asked to join the GNR Tribute band that Axl currently sings for. BIG difference.

That's what I was thinkin'; it woulda been a nice gig 15 years ago.

That would be the first tribute band ever to write and record new material...

Aren't they known as "Axl Rose's Guns 'n' Roses" now?

I thought it was "Guns 'n Roses, featuring Axl Rose" now.

It should actually be "Someone thinks he's Guns 'N Roses"

It sounds like you all think they're going to play old GNR songs. They have lots of new material, I'm not able to see the problems with this. If Ron joins he won't play as he does on his own albums. He played on Jessica Simpsons album, you can't hear that.

Where does all this negativity come from...

i'm guessing, it will go the same way it did with Buckethead.

i've heard that axl rose is just too controling. i don't think that flew very well with BH's style, as it might not with Ron Thal's. but, we'll see.
