Rusty Cooley
I ran into
Rusty Cooley
yesterday.
Really nice guy. He is giving guitar lessons here in Houston.
His rates are very fair. I think I'll probably go ahead and sign up for a few lessons, I could use some help.
Check out his website and look at the Media section. He has some great videos.

As much as I think Shawn Lane was superior technically, I just don't see his music as shred.

It really isn't just listen to his "Powers of Ten" album.

Well, I was referring to his superior technical skills, although he also managed to make interesting music.

Re: Rusty Cooley
Shawn lane was way beyond shred imo.......
Im not a Rusty fan tho i give him all due respect but Lane was and is still one of the greatest
guitar players
ever and on his musical merrit not technique. I mean sure he had some of the best technique ever BUT shred i just dont care about and musicaly he was just amazing.
Just my 2p.
