Satch playing with Les Paul

Check this out! Satriani played Les Paul at Les Paul's 90th Birthday. Did he really play Satch Boogie with Gibson Les Paul? That's cool i think.

I'd be interested in getting one if it was still in production.

Yes... the Arpege III is in production... stanleys got one but thats an arpege II in that picture...... theres not much difference between the II's and III's asfar as I remember.... anyway Vigiers are 'boutique' custom built guitars so they are quite pricey.... but worth every penny twice over in my opinion...

Re: Satch playing with Les Paul

Vigier makes nice guitars, there was an arpege in a used guitar store in Montreal, I never asked how much it was, but I regret it now, It could have turned out to be pretty cheap.

Vigier also makes the Excalibur, the fretless Surfreter and the Shawn Lane signature model. I'd love to get my hands on any of these.

There is a number of people who would want a SL Vigier lefty, but Patrice Vigier considers it unprofitable and will not do it. Some discussion on that is available here: http://donniebshawn.com/v-web/bullet...pic.php?t=1523
