Todays been Weiner day so I was wondering. Dave is a backup guitarist so why would he get his own model? How many rhythm guitarist have there own model out?

Malcom Young had one, Scott Ian had a few, James Hetfield has a few. Im sure there are more.

If you've ever listened to Dave's own music, then you'd realize that the only reason he was a rhythm guitarist in Vai's band, was the fact that the other guitarist in the band was Steve Vai.

Dave is an incredible player, his first CD is an incredible piece of work, absolutely brilliant playing....you should check it out. Very cool stuff.
