That can't be true, I spoke to her personally just last night and... Oh wait, last night I was dreaming... Doh...

Why sorry? I wouldn't touch that with YOUR 10 foot pole. If she wasn't laden with virii before, the Madonna kiss clinched it; she's probably got fleas, too... ;-)

I think this may have been a bad career move.
Many of her fans represent an independent "sex in the city" single woman attitude.
Getting married of course kills that.
In the music business, its always shadowed when an artist who sells somewhat on sex appeal, or availibility gets married.
ie: Brian Epstein tried to hide John Lennon was married when the Beatles invaded America in '64.
We've actually talked about this in my store several times, and this issue appears to be more thought about by woman than men.
For example, men have told me (in the
music store
) that even though Faith Hill is married, they still recognize she is a beautiful woman, and buy her music, and Tim McGraws as well.
(Tim McGraws respect seem to go up by marrying Faith to many male customers)
Yet I have had several....NOT ALL.... female customers tell me when Faith and Tim got married "I was done with the both of them, they sold out".
If I was Britney, being only 21/22 yrs old, I probably would have dated this guy for awhile, and just left an obvious good thing alone for awhile.
This marriage gives her a "settling down" type effect.
She was selling tours, t-shirst, and cds by being controversial the last few years..... lets face it, she's not that talented, but the general public seems to be generally interested in what she is doing.
She's certainly going to lose some of her "slutty" sex appeal by marrying her high school sweetheart.

can i say.... who cares?
the trailer-chick gone hollywood has made enough $$$ to last 10 lifetimes and will still sell whatever her agents push in front of her for months and months to come. the fact it's being discussed here, on jemsite, is proof in the pudding.
perhaps she wants to do more "mature" projects and shed her child-like persona. i just wish she'd STFU and stay off the magazines, TV and radio for the next decade :P ...glen

OMG dude how far are you going to take that "sly" management double spacing crap???
Enough is enough.
I don't know if it is just me but I do not read your input anymore - just couldn't care less what some double spacing kid with a handle on everything in life has to say.
About Britney, I'm with Glen.

Dex.... and the other negative people on this site.
If we are going to have a discussion, you have to talk.
Several of you reply to everything with...
"Who gives a sh*t"???
Thats not a forum..... that's a negative "Losers in the Lounge" approach to life. Britney and Timberlake may be pop candy, but they're working harder than you. They are doing something you are not.
What seems like "luck" to the Losers in The Lounge is actually hard work that builds up to one big break that pushes these people into stardom.
If you want it....go get it. Quit whining about "trailer trash" brought into stardom.
We're all male adults sittin round' on a Sunday morning talking about her.
She's not giving a sh*t about us.
Who's more trailer trash, her or us?????
Dex, I'll be 26 in a few weeks, I own 3 business's and 2 homes, I've been happily married for 5 yrs, and I have a better personal, financial, spiritual, and family life than anyone else I know..... are you older than 26? and what have you done with your life??
Were you drunk New Year's Eve??? What about last night??
Actually, I have more in common with Britney than most of you on this site.... she works .... and she doesn't have time to be drunk 5 days a week, like the topic going in the "Off topic" forum suggests.
Actually, maybe I should leave this forum, as 25 is a little old to be in the Ibanez forum, cause as your fellow friend, and lover Ed Roman suggest's "
Ibanez guitars
are maybe ok for a beginning player, but certainly not quality enough for a real musician to play".
Besides a few of you with mullets, hanging onto a 1985 dream, I'm probably talking to a bunch of 16 yr olds.

Dude, i just think people hate the double spacing business.
Let's not let this thread [or any] go bad.
I hope you guys aren't upset I posted this topic...as silly as it is, I figured it would make for some fun, although pointless convo, given that it will be all over the headlines pretty soon.
If its going to turn into a slugfest, its better off closed.

Wow , I didn't think I would see that coming... Strange because I haven't heard about it on the news / Papers in England yet... probably because of the time difference though

Some would say it's jouvenile to creat a mountain of debt and call it an acomplishment [unless of course you're claiming everything is free and clear]. Many of us could go buy another house and a Ferrari for each driveway, But then I'd have to pay for it and I prefer to spend money on something other than a mountain of debt
As for Briteny, I just want to know if she's going to still claim to be a virgin?

They're already saying that she wants the marriage anulled. Hmmm, sounds like a show biz gimmick to get her name in the headlines again....

It will certainly be funny to see how this girl who is probably by now well adjusted to the Hollywood lifestyle trying to settle down with a boy from back on the farm. I give it a month or two before she is caught with a dancer or producer.
What's even funnier is all the analysis going on about the subject in this thread.
I'll download whatever porn she ends up being featured in 1-2 years from now, but other than that I really couldn't care less about what she does with her life.
I get all my news from talk radio and these forums, so if it weren't so damn fascinating to you guys, I never would've known.
GW - I don't know why you feel the need to prove so much to all of us. No one is going to show any jealousy or respect towards you if you keep coming with this attitude like you constantly have something to prove to yourself by reminding us of your claimed greatness. Basically, get over yourself and people will likely give you the respect you so desperately seem to cry out for.

you know they say if you have to talk about how great and superior you are then in fact you are really still trying to convince yourself
lets drop the attitude in this thread and post with civility here... glen
