I have a few....
Field of Dreams, Lord of the Rings (all of the movies!), Gladiator...

Just to name a few..

Re: Soundtracks..

The Crow

get and im not kidding Jurrasic Park im guessing your listening to the scores..

If you really want to sit down with some beautiful music I sugged Mussorgskys Pictures At A Exhibition.. The ending is on such a grand level you almost feel like your in some huge cathedral with someone of great royalty or honor being presented.

that is the ultimate piece of classical music as far as im concerned..

It goes from very juvial to dark, to mischievious(sp) to just pure honor. Thats the only way I can explain it. If you listen all way thru at the end you will almost be in tears by how majestic it is.

Re: Soundtracks..

Requiem for a dream - i think it's Clint Mansell is a great sound track record and a good film too, but ohhh it's depressing!

I also love Angelo Badalamenti as a composer.. The soundtracks he did
for Twin Peaks and Mulholland drive are both absolutely fantastic so atmospheric and spooky..

I also have a soft spot for the Last of the Mohicans theme..

For an alternate take does anyone else here love the Fantomas "director's cut" album.. It's entirely old horror movie themes covered in Fantomas' fairly unique style. It's actually probably their most accessable album. That stuff rocks..

I always liked the soundtracks to "The Highlander" movies.

Also....the old Clint Eastwood spagetti westerns, especially "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
