The EP contains 5 songs that the band feels explores different areas where someone would feel excluded from a whole. From feeling ostracized from a clique (Houston Complex) to feeling separated from a decision (Escape Clause), and even the joy of finding someone else who is excluded in kind (Love in A440). These songs cross different sound-scapes and alternate narratives to explore how separation functions in different facets of human interaction.
Although there is another guitar player in the band, all my parts were recorded with a
JEM VSBL through a Legacy.
