I think he should come here at least once a year just to say hi. After all, this is a website that is dedicated to the guitars he designed, definately hardcore fans here.

I am certain that Mr. Vai lurks around here, maybe its even registered to a non suspecting Nickname and posts everynow and then, checks on stuff, and reactions to new Ibanez gear, maybe he even checks the wild Swirls of some of the jemsters here!!!
WHY ? because we are fans, and fanatics and sometimes we are not courteous enough or simply overwhelming on our fanatism/Enthusiasm...

I remember when by chance I met Geddy Lee, and had a little "weird chat", buts basically at the end of it I complained about how secluded the Band is and he told me

"when you have 100 strangers every night that want to touch you, ask you things, take a gazzilion photos, have like 10 signatures (even in private parts", and just can let you go to piss, you would understand, have you ever listened to Limelight?"

I guess Mr. Vai lurks here but with no one knowing he reads unadulterated info and unadulterated comments, if "HIMSELF" answered ONE single post everyone would be asking and drooling the whole thread.... ( I would be one of those since the guy is cool as hell....!)

good to know MR. Vai KNOWS about this place..sure he drops in from time to time...

i think mikey is steve's right hand man sort of. he deals with all the publicity type things, such as announcing on here and vai.com what's going on, with get togethers, concerts, etc.
