Welcome Steve, I knew you'd show up.

What an honor, Mr. Vai. Little do you know that dropping in here is much like Jesus Himself "dropping in" to earth for a quick visit with His followers. If there's any one place on the net you belong, besides your own vai.com, it is HERE

This is quite a grand moment for Jemsite. Welcome indeed is in order. Steve seems busier than ever, which'll make it harder to get him to play on our next titles but that was an awesome post that addressed a hell of a lot of confusion on the forum.

Guess we'll see what happens on vai.com next week. Wow! That post is definitely something for the front page of jemsite...

Welcome Steve. I dream of meeting you one day and just hanging out like two Long Island/Berklee guys. I've felt this way since hearing you on Howard Stern 11 years ago when P&W came out - for me, your "mystical-alien" curtain/persona came down that morning. I actually lived in Carle Place for a year not long after that (I grew up in Roslyn Hts.)

If you ever need a keyboard/guitar player that's not quite as good as Mike K., you can find me here. (I already own a Jem and a UV, so I won't have to mooch any of yours)

I can't believe it took Glen so long to respond (and the cavalier "no big deal" response that followed)...you'd think he'd be more excited than any of the rest of us - Glen's probably been waiting for this moment since jemsite.com was an anonymous IP address. Let's be honest here...Glen's probably STILL doing his laundry!

I just can't help but feel a little embarrassment that 'Himself' showed up on the same day as yesterday's complaint.com thread bitching about banner ads and **** filters. I hope to hell he didn't read it.

One more thing...I propose "MIP" status, rather than 'VIP' status. SSV is the common thread here on this forum, thus making him not a 'Very' Important person...but the "Most Important Person".

"I never met you, but I love you" - the kid from that late 80's/early 90's commercial when the guy (they never met eachother) sends him the puppy as a gift to make a difference in the kids life.

Anyway, hi Steve, my name is Christopher. we got a lot to talk about (since my emails were never answered, maybe rich pike never forwarded them to you ...) , but seriously :P email me at WYLDSTALLYNSX@aol.com
