hmm... this is very cool. maybe now we could get some real info on the JEM333 (since nobody seems to really know anything about it). unless of course Glen decides to kick my ass for even mentioning it here
sounds like that JEM with the reflective top would be quite similar to kramers old holo-flash finishes (only with a different film)... maybe something for a JEM customshop?

now, if we could only get all the other guitar-heroes to post on the message boards of their selected brand...

Just adding in my little hello, a little late but here it is.

Hey Steve! Your music is a great inspiration to us all! we love you! and do try to stop by here on your next tour... i was seriously offended when Alive in The Ultra Zone didn't include a song dedicated to Israel!

Wyld Stallyns: Steve gets 100's of emails a day I'm sure- he can't be expected to get back to all of them! He's a busy guy doncha know.

Ash: You can't expect him to write songs for every country!

Do YOU know a more exotic, history long contravercial, miraciolasly still standing, multi cultured, 3000 year old heritage country, beloved and worshipped by no less than three religions? i would expect it to be added to any collection that promises 'recorded in the greatest countries in the world"...!

Sorry if i offended you, but i'm just standing up for my country. And it's late, so i have an exuse for my poor typing!

Hmmm, Russia didn't get a song, China, the US, Canada, Africa, no countries in South America, sounds like some other great countries weren't included either, don't take it personally

well, next time Steve dedicates songs to countries, he should be aware that those he doesn't include will be offended. kind of like when he played that Australian song in New Zealand, and they all got pissed off. everyone wants to feel special and have steve vai dedicate a song to their nationality.

Whew, that was a sober moment!

Hey Steve, can you come up with 130 some odd new songs dedicated to all the countries you missed? And do it before the next tour? Thanks!

You'll probably have to tour all these countries alsp just to keep everybody happy, should only take you a couple years and I'm sure you won't mind the monetary losses such a tour would incurr.

Why should anyone be "offended"? I assume you mean disappointed?
The bottom line is, Steve wrote songs for/about (most of) the countries he played in on the Ultra Zone tour.

Sheezzh I go away for a few weeks and look what happens.

No doubt your too busy to actually read all the replies to your post so this one will probably be missed, but ettiquete must be met. So I say....

Hello and Welcome to Jemsite, Dr.Vai

I too will force myself on you with two questions.

Whatever happened to that interactive guitar instructional CD you were going to create ? It sounded like an awful good idea.

I assume that you have looked at the possibility of putting all your video apperances on to a DVD singles collection, from Zappa to Roth to your Whitesnake days and beyond. But it would make a nice addition to The Secret Jewel Box.

Oh and thanks for creating the dream for me.

I always miss everything cool around here!

How awsome to hear the REAL story about the "chrome jem" from "himself".

Really nice to get a glimps into what's up-and-coming from studio too. I am looking forward to some new stuff on vai.com.

Thanks for the updates Steve.
