Post Steve Vai on the Australian Cricket

I was watching the Australian cricket, on the tv, today. And during the lunch break, they were showing some replays and behind the useless commentators voices I was hearing some serious shredding. I listened more closely and recognised that it was Steve Vai's "I Would Love To".

My faith in today's music choice has improved slightly from this event. I thought I'd share this find with you other Steve Vai lovers (and maybe even some cricket lovers) here. I remember someone else here saying they picked up a Steve Vai tune used for Fox Sports (I had a bit of a search but couldn't find it..). With any luck we might be hearing people whistling the tune around now .

Yeah, I remember hearing that and Satch's 'Summer Song' on Aussie sports shows in the 90s. Good times.

Vai wrote a song for Halo. There is also an 8 string guitar used in one of the soundtracks for the call of duty games. Bioshock's soundtrack featured Django tunes.

Cool that somebody decided to go with that song - hope they were a little informed and not just chosing from some sound clips bank...

Thinking ahead a little, i reckon you guys down under will be listening to 'Say a little Prayer' by the time the Ashes comes round?! ;-)
