The New Disturbed CD

I purchased this cd yesterday i figured since i have the other two I might as well buy the 3rd installment. After a few listens I just cannot get into the darn thing at all. I can't even give you the highlights on the cd since it pretty much sounds like all the rest of their cds. Anyone else out there buy it? You know i thought truly that this one would sound a bit different but I am so tired of David Draiman using that little trade mark growl. It seems that once a band has a signature sound they don't mess with it if it works but it can be kind of tiresome. What do you all think.

Re: The New Disturbed CD

I haven't heard the entire CD yet, but I have heard the two songs they've released as singles. Don't remember the names, but I didn't like the one with the techno sounds at all.

I also think Draiman should stop the Fozzy on crack thing. WAKKA WAKKA!

I hope they don't fall too far into the Godsmack syndrome, where it all sounds the same. Even Godsmack's first CD(even though I dig it) has repetitive. GO AWAY, STAY AWAY, GET AWAY, in about EVERY darn song.

Yeah, there's some pretty cool solos on the new Disturbed. There's actually some pretty cool playing on some of Godsmack's stuff, too.

Cohhed and Cambria does some pretty interesting stuff, as well!

Re: The New Disturbed CD

Heard a couple tracks off the new Disturbed album. The guitar playing is definitely ten times better.
