Cool

The voice of Rockfest 2005

I listen to the radio every morning on the way home from work (I'm a third shift vampire ) and for the last few days I've been hearing this cool ad for the Rockfest comming up here in Wisconsin with a voice I couldn't quite place but sounded familiar. Then it hit me this morning like a flash out of the blue! It's the voice of Jemfest! If I'm not totally bonkers our own seven string shredding, Bob Oakman, is the voice of Rockfest too. How cool is that?

The man has the voice of a gawd, I swear.

Hey Bob, wanna give us the low-down on how you ended up with this specific gig?

Hey Patrick,

I do a billion concert ads, but I don't actually remember doing that one. Ya' never know though. Who are the artists?
You can hear lots of parts from shows I've done on my demos. bobsbus.com
My favorites are always the Steve Vai spots... for obvious reasons.

Artists are Ratt, Great White, Tom Petty (headlining), Quiet Riot, Cinderella(?) ... and a bunch more I can't quite remember.

I'm gonna feel REAL stupid if that's not you but this guys sounds EXACTLY like you then. Geesh, Bob's got a twin????

Nope. Not me.

There are a couple guys at my old studio that sound like me. When you work together for a long time, you start sounding the same.

Ok, I officially feel real stupid now. Story of my life. Sorry Bob.

This guy, whoever he may be, does sound like you, though.

Ok Mods, close 'er up (and delete if possible)
