Well 25 years ago Randy died in a small plane accident, according to Rudy Sarzo in his book, Randy and Rachel were fighting the controls of the plane because Andrew Ay**** (the pilot) wanted to kill his wife that was standing in the bus door at the time, he thinks Randy saved him, Tommy alridge , Sharon and Ozzy that were sleeping in the bus...

Anyways, Randy Died and we lost one of the most promising guitar players in history, rest in peace Randy Rhoads.

Nice memorial thread! Randy was/is one of my four favorites. The thing about Randy, besides his monstrous playing, was the fact that I've never heard anyone who knew him say anything bad about him. They all say he was humble, down-to-earth and gracious.

I dont know what happen on the plane, but I do know that ozzys 'Tribute' album is possibly one of the best bench marks of live guitar playing I have ever heard in my life.

Although his life was cut far too short, I'm personally greatful for what was documented of his amazing skills, most of all the tribute album

I still wonder what he would be playing like if he was alive today...
