Two Become One by Paul Gilbert
I'm talking about this spice girls cover. PG plays the solo from Stairway to Heaven BETTER than
Jimmy Page
himself! One of the most frowned upon (or even hated) tunes in the guitar stores all over the world suddenly doesn't sound all that bad even though it's played in a guitar store.

PG rocks!
Anyway, IMHO anyone can *play* better than Page. His talent was coming up with great original stuff (and then performing it very badly
)

His tone on this particular tune totally kills. It's "chewy" but with enough texture to not become bland. Of course 80% of this is Paul's vibrato. So the tone IS in the hands.

OMG.........
Page plays Stairway to heaven bad????
its sloppy, its his style, no one can play it with the same groove and feeling as he does.

The Alligator Farm version kicks. PG is my hero, always has been, always will be.
