Evo is still alive and kicking, Baby..............

Maybe Steve will retire it after the album is done?

And another idea...
Just finished cleaning up my harddrive and came accross that Joe Satch en Steve Vai jam thinggy from Epic, the webcast (Yeah, I ripped it, sue me, I'll do the time but I'm keeping it!!!).
Would it be possible to get a full blown mpg variant with better sound online? Because it really is one of the best spontanious devine jams I've ever heard. Stuff like that should be preserved.. Same goes for that soundcheck quicktime movie that was / is on Vai.com. The sound is cracking, but it's beautiful!! A high-res version with good sound will be big but very much worth the download.
Thanks..

Oh, and I'm definitly in favour of a full blown complete encyclopedia of Steve's guitars, preferably with all the details, loads of pictures and stuff like that. There should be an Evo memorial site if she ever retires.

Ehmmm... that's it for now...

I think the big thing that everyone here has hit upon is "more". We all have our favorite parts of musical history from Steve and covet certain concepts from different eras...but I think one of the largest things we all wonder about it how it all goes down; in the studio, mastering, creating, the setbacks, preparing for tours, etc. Steve's been one of the least private musicians in that respect in the past; there's Journals and stories and pics and I can remember findign it online for the first time and having it grind my productivity at work to a halt.

Make a framework that you can easily add to and expand upon. There seems like tones of information has been made available but the challenge lies in making it all available in a quick and efficient process.

Good luck on the work....we'll all be waiting to see how it turns out.

I would fix the link in the BEES section first off!! It's not working.

Second, I would avoid making too many changes in the basic structure of the site. For instance, I hate the navigation on Satch's website. It's one of my least favorite places to visit. Which really bites cuz he's one of my favorite musicians.

I'm sure it's not what they meant about getting really excited about, but I for one think it's COOOL seeing pics of Vai in the studio!
Besides, you can see they're really working on it now. I notice small updates and improvements each day now
