That's cool. He seems to have a lot more personality that most of the guys who do instructional videos.

P.S. The video is kind of grainy...do you think that is one of those cheap Chinese Jem knockoffs?

Hm, I just realized that I have that video since I bought the April 2005 Guitar World issue. Ya know what I thought was funny was when he said, "anybody can shred and do stuff like this:

deebleeebeeleeelebddebedeedlleble..."
When about 50% of guitar players today couldn't even fathom doing that .

It's much higher than 50% of guitar players who couldn't do that my friend. But I doubt Steve hangs out with your "average/anybody" guitarist. And I took it that he was implying that if you wanted to bad enough, (i.e. practiced excessively like he did to attain his goal) you "anybody" could do it because I'm sure he sees a lot of people who can do it.
