Vai: "I Know You're Here"

I'm sure this is a stupid question but is this song on a studio album?

It makes me verklempt every time I hear it.

No - it's only on the G3'03 DVD and CD.

Steve hasn't recorded a studio version of it - and there are no plans to release one. He feels that the live version makes the statement he wants to make.

I once heard of a dutchman moving out to the land over there... Edward something... I too recognize the word in norwegian, but it makes no sense to me in english. I think he's dutch... Moro means "fun" in norwegian, so he might even be norwegian!

So NOBOBDY watched Saturday Night Live in the early 90's?

There's a Mike Meyers sketch (Coffee Talk) where he portrays a stereotype of an older Jewish yenta sitting home and doing a public access cable call-in show. One of the phrases he uses when 'getting emotional' is "I'm so ferklempt", or "I'm getting ferklempt". The yiddish word 'ferklempt' meaning, "clammed up" or "choked up".

So what moro is saying is that he gets all emotional and 'choked up' whenever he hears the song.

What BeastofLove said. "Verklempt" is fake Yiddish for "choked up."

It's German and means roughly the same as anal retentive. The Yidish form means emotionally tired or sad, I believe.

Nah, I think it's fake, it's just easier to say "Yiddish" than "Fake Yiddish"
