Vai Live at The Astoria DVD release date in the UK/Europe?
I just checked my amazon pre-order of the Vai DVD today to check it had shipped OK only to find it has been put back another week. On Amazon it lists the release date as the 9th of Febuary now. Play.com has it down as the 23rd. I thought this was due out on the 19th of January but it keeps getting pushed back it seems.
Anyone having the same experience? Does anyone know the official word on the PAL release?

It hasn't officially got a release date yet. Keep checking
www.vai.com
for an official word. Until there is one, all the release dates (play.com, amazon.co.uk etc..) are wrong.
(This is pretty much what Mikey said at vai.com)

Maybe the delay is because the UK version has all the crap video work taken out, and you can now select which camera you want, even the one in Steve's brain where you see how he makes the music.
Or maybe it's just 'cause "they" are trying to annoy you.

NTSC shouldn't be a problem for Region 2 players. I got a region 2 player as well and can play region free NTSC DVDs without a problem. Most DVD-Players support NTSC. The thing is, if your TV can't process the signal, you're kinda bleeped...

this is the whole reason i am having to wait. I'll mostly watch the DVD on my computer, but if i wanted to watch it on TV then i couldn't with the NTSC, so I have to wait for PAL.
