Any Van Halen fans hang around here? Perhaps a silly question to ask, but I'm just curious!

What's you're fave VH album? Mine is 5150.

P.S. Among the VH fans here, are there any members of the eddievanhalen.com forums lurking around here? I'm a member over there, username Heavy_Metal_Hero, although I haven't been there for quite a while.

Big VH fan here and have been since the early 1980's. I'm really depressed about the current state of the band

It's good to see some fellow VH-fans and EVH.com forum members here. It is pretty depressing about the current state of the band. That's one of the reasons why I've not been to EVH.com for ages - there is no news. Nothing is happening with the band. Absolutely zippo. Very sad. Yet again VH has left it's fans "In Limbo". If they're not doing anything again, why not come right out and say so?

Although I did hear the VH bros appeared live with Kenny Chesney a few weeks back.

Yes they did. Check youtube I think there is a video from that show where they play "Jump".

I don't have any preference between Sammy and Dave... VH have always made great music, EVH is an amazing guitarist, AVH is the best drummer on the planet... what more is there to say

I can't remember if I'm a member on that forum since visiting it seems kinda pointless. With nothing new it's just like regurgitating yesterday's lunch and hoping it'll somehow be new today. Just ain't happenin'.

Hard to say which my favorite would be. Prolly 5150. I just loved Eddie's tone on the album (I know something you don't hear everyday) and Sammy took the band to a level Dave couldn't/didn't want to.

I have seen the Chesney vid on Youtube. Let's just say it doesn't leave me very optimistic about the current state of Eddie's abilities.
