Hmmm..... will they be doing the "bluegrass" versions of their old songs??

Dave's "rehearsed" a few songs that way didn't he?

No Michael= no "Van Halen"! Even Sammy would agree with that!

Luckily for us Sammy's not in the band.

Ed, Alex and DLR is what makes VH - in that order.
Any decent singer can play bass and sing harmonies behind Dave.
Don't get me wrong, I rather Mike was in the lineup but by the same token I much rather see DLR singing in a VH without Mike than Sammy in VH with Mike.

Your mileage may vary.

I don't see all the dislike for Sammy. Sure, Dave is "classic" VH (and I'm glad he's on this tour instead of Sammy), but Sammy was as every bit a part of VH as Dave was. I think they are both great.

Why didnt Dave get Sheen to the bass try-outs? Billy would have Wolfie for lunch. Ed should have his cousin George sing and change the bands name to the Osmonds.

Well I just got my Summer Edition of everybody's favorite guitar store catalogue. And low and behold look who's gracing the cover (and not looking like a 80's rocker wannabe anymore

He looks MUCH better (obviously) As much crap as I give Ed, it's all only because of huge disapointment in him and I'm sure I don't have to go into the reasons why. Looks like he may really be making efforts for a turnaround!! (only time will tell) More power to ya Ed if you can

BTW - How many cigarette burns can a head stock withstand???
