Thanks to EVERYONE who voted cause tomorrow hundreds of thousands of people will get to hear some instrumental guitar music on the FM band. First time around here since Gary Hoey's Hocus Pocus got on the radio! lol

The person who came in second place went from like 200 votes to 2500 the next day and then another 2000 the next day and another 1500 the next day. The station realized that a bott program of some type had been made to boost the votes. But they saw that my votes and this other contestant Tess's votes were legit and even though I came in first place they wanted Tess and myself on the show on Friday for interviews and to play a few songs each live.

Thanks man! I was really worried about playing that tune since its so new and I dont have any "muscle memory" going on in it so there was an opportunity for mistakes to happen! lol BUT I dig the tune and after playing the materail for the "Guitar Farm" album for the past year..... I wanted to get the chance to play something new! lol

I also wanted to point out that if anyone wants to hear the broadcast just go to: http://www.mynorthwest.com/?nid=153&cmsid=110 and click the 6pm to 7pm link for Friday and scroll forward about 5 minutes.

It was hilarious because I got a call today and they said "we dont have inputs in our mixing console for you to plug your processor into so could you bring an amp in?" I was like uh yeah but all I have are my 4x12 cabs... lol So we stopped by a local music store and borrowed a couple small amps and brought them up. I gave them a backing track CD that had the drums and bass on it and me and my rhythm guitar player plugged in a RP500 and RP1000 into these two 1x12 amps. We were in a seperate interview room right next to the DJ's room and there were a few Neumann mics used for talking to guests pointed in the direction of the amps and we heard everything mixed in the headphones we were wearing. It was a little hard to hear the backing tracks because I heard the bass thump of the amps in the room coming through the "noise cancelling" headphones. Totally WEIRD setup but for the most part..... it worked. lol
