What do you players think about Ted Nugent?

Only a little has been said about him, and I'm curious to see what others think about him!

Personally I think he's from a wang dango planet all his own. He was one of my all time faves growing up, and I love his whole ****y attitude!! He's got taste, tone, vibrato and the balls of a bull rhino in heat!! Plus most of his stuff was played on a Gibson Byrdland for cying out loud!! He's one of the balls out toughest riff writers in rock..."GREAT WHITE BUFFALO", "STRANGLEHOLD", "FREE FOR ALL", "TERMINUS EL DORADO", "CAT SCRATCH FEVER"...His work with the Amboy Dukes, solo stuff, Damn Yankees...As he says He is Ted "Motherf*cking" Nugent baaaabyy...

He is .... Ted Nugent.... Un-imitable... awesome.

Personally i take him over just about any player of his era.

His lifestyle is full on and his books are humorous... i don't judge people on religious or political beliefs so i'm not going there.

Wang dang sweet pu--tang? You betcha.

THe Damn Yankees period has some awesome stuff and some of his best riffs for sure.
gotta love the zebra print too.

I know nothing about Ted Nugent besides one song wich was played as a main theme of a brazilian tv series.
Damn Yankees-High Enough.
I likled it and bought that record.
I didn't like all other songs andnot because of his playing but because they were....hmmm not exciting.Lyrics were bad.Nothing smart to say.
But High Enough is awesome,extremelly pop but awesome.

I love Uncle Ted! Great guitar player. He wails and screams on his axes and his energy onstage is ridiculous. I went to see him a few years ago and it was a blast.

Ted is the posterchild for the hard rockin' redneck portion of the US (and Canada). I've been a huge fan since I was a kid in the '70s. In my mind we need more Ted's and a new generation of Ted's to continue to carry the torch.

Ted rocks, and politically he's right on the mark, just not necessarily the best guy to deliver the message.

I saw him live a few years back. Great show.
