What does Mr Vai beleive?
A good friend of mine who's working on a music degree started researching eastern philosophy due to some of his favourite composers being followers of thee philosophies, or at least in part influenced by it. anyway this got me to thinking about Mr Vai, and wondering if he followed any particular philosophy or religion, i have scoured the net and only found titbits, possibly in part to Mr Vai being anti ego inflation, also possibly due to many musicians not seeming to want to know this stuff (thats the vibe i get anyway)... anyway anyone have any ideas?
I do imagine that his approach would be fairly eclectic too, but i'm just way to curious...

Re: What does Mr Vai beleive?
So far from what I gathered, he believes in handles in guitars, never play live without a fan blowing your hair, make alot of silly face when you play and always wear a goofy hat during the encore.

Mr. Vai like the rest of the world truly believes in only one thing in the end.

I read somewhere that he is very spiritual, but not religious.
I guess I got it from
Vai Forums
(I'm also registered there).
Good place to start, BTW.
