Exclamation

WHAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!

It's exciting!

It's DIFFERENT!

It's ....

THE LAS VEGAS ACADEMY VARSITY 2 GUITAR ENSEMBLE!

Featuring Jemsite's very OWN:
Brandon Jones (jem#5150)
Andrew Kaimi (something that I can't remember!!!)
Katrina Leshan (katrina)

This was our very first concert as the second highest guitar ensemble at school. We had SO much fun! Some of our selection included Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by Lennon/McCartney and a ROUSING () song called Celtic Jig with the GREATEST drum backround EVER! This was our concert (with all thirty-some guitar students) that took place on October 24, 2006. For a full program and the ACTUAL concert, check out the link below! Let us know what you think! If you want to skip a song, (stinks for you!), just fast forward a bit until you hear something different.....Yeah. At the end of the video is a listing of all the students in the class, and our SPONSORS! (You may be suprised to see who some of them are! ) Have fun watching, and then let us know what you think! Don't forget to rate the video once you're there (with the stars in the upper right hand corner...).

Thanks!!!!

This is so awsome Katrina! I'm listening to it now. This really makes my guitar class I took in high school really SUCK! Most of the class tried playing Metallica and power-chords on nylon string guitars when performing their final solo for class.

You have to tell the instructor, and class, for me that this sounds really good. Thanks for sharing!

Head-Banging!

Awsome Celtic piece near the end.

Paul

P.S.
Nice intro to the performance BTW. Is is Gypsy Kings?

Wow Paul! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm so proud of my class.. Oh.. and the headbanging.. You'll have to excuse Tommy.. He's a stoner... But he's the ONLY ONE in our class. Most kids are really smart and don't get involved in that stuff, but his parents made it available. haha. ANYWAYS, thanks for listening and your comments! That's SOOO awesome!!

*happy dance*

Oh, and the intro is by a dude name Ottmar Liebert.

Re: WHAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!

We all had acoustic-electric guitars. Fender is one of our sponsers and made us eight (or was it four?) custom guitars a couple years back. We ordered I think 30 more, so now in concerts we all play acoustic-electric custom Fender guitars! They have BEAUTIFUL tone!!!!! I wish we played those EVERY day, but they're each about $600, so Mr. Swick has us play these other guitars made by Fender. I think. Brandon could back me up here, but I'm pretty sure the other ones (the cruddy ones) we play are Fender, also.

Most of the acoustic electrics are Alvarezes, and about four are the fender acoustic electrics. Our normal class guitars are these crappy fenders. the acoustic electrics have cutaways also. they are very nice, i also wish we could play those everyday. now i need to watch the vid.
