What's on Eddie's guitar?

Prob already posted somewhere but what the hell is on Eddie's guitar? Is it just an extension clip to keep the guitar cable away from his feet?

It's a stand kinda thing to hold a mic. He uses it live to amplify his farts.

That's essentially it. When he left the wireless behind he was tried to come up with some sort of cable solution to keep it out of the way. I'm not sure how effective it was. As much as I like Ed, I think it looks ridiculous, and he's still tied to his area of the stage.
