Question

What's the best instrumental (shred) album of 2005 in your opinion?

Hi,

To me it's definitely Kiko Loureiro's "No Gravity". Awesome!

Regards,

D.

Neither were released in 2005, however I believe they were both released in years ending with 5 (1995 for ALS and Yngwie's first was 1985 I think but it may have been 84).

Hmmmm, not a lot of shred albums came out in '05 to my knowledge. Kiko is a wonderful player. I don't know though, a lot of the shred I like seems to be the older stuff. I'm not sure if they were '05 or not but Friedman's "Music For Speeding" and Petrucci's "Suspended Animation" are two killer solo albums that are somewhat new.
