WolfMother
Hi, Just wondered if you had heard of this band and what you thought of them.
They sound a lot like 70's heavy rock.
Pretty cool I thought.

Re: WolfMother
Yeah they are an Australian band, not bad. Prefer them over Jet any day. Jet are a bunch of hacks trying to sound like too many other 60s-70s bands, Wolfmother have found the sound they like and stick to it.

Re: WolfMother
When I first heard them and saw a clip, I honestly thought it was something from the early 70's, early Zepp'ish. Thought it was dug out from some dusty 1-hit-wonder vaults. Sounds ok, but why go THAT retro?...

It's one of the coolest CD's I've heard this year next to discovering the 1st Haji's Kitchen CD.

Re: WolfMother
To me they just sound like ANOTHER retro rock band, bringing nothing really new or exciting to the table

Re: WolfMother
Well, I gotta say I do prefer the retro rock thing to being subjected to yet more nu metal/metalcore bands..hopefully their stuff wil get more interesting as their discography grows and they can go somewhere else with those early rock influences in new directions (crossing fingers)..I like Wolfmother, and The Sword as well...and have been a fan of Sheavy for a while, who are like the best band that Black Sabbath never was..
