Wolfy Joins Van Halen
May have been previously reported here, but seems like Ed's son Wolfgang is now the lead bass player for
Van Halen
.
It never hurts to know someone, does it?

It's just not Van Halen without Mike. Ed sure has let all that cigarette smoke and booze go to his head.

Re: Wolfy Joins Van Halen
It's great that father and son can work together. With that said, do it as a project not as VH (the band). I'm beginning to doubt we'll ever see the original line up together. Just another disappointment for many fans I guess. You'd think as old as these guys are, that by now they could have worked out any differences and gotten back to what "made" them. (sigh)

Re: Wolfy Joins Van Halen
I'm cool with Wolfie joining, it's just another VH incarnation, but classic Van Halen was the best- so if Mike is not in it then the dream is still not realized (for me anyway)

Re: Wolfy Joins Van Halen
What Eddie's froggled mind seems to forget is that Michael's high vocal parts were a major part of the VH 'signature' sound.
Can Wolfie sing those parts?
Cause nobody else can......I'm jus sayin........

Re: Wolfy Joins Van Halen
In a radio interview a couple of years back Eddie said his son could play all the instruments and sing 'like a mofo'. But his song shouldn't hear that remark or 'his balls would drop'. hehe.
