Re: Yellow Matter Custard - DVD!!!!!!!!!!
excellent CD's.
You guys know that
Mike Portnoy
's dream is to be in the Beatles, don't you?
He did a drum clinic a few years back at the East Coast Music Mall in CT and
let me tell you- he's absolutely over the top on the kit and a hell of a nice guy.
We talked about how influential Ringo was to the whole scene- he loves the Fab Four.

Re: Yellow Matter Custard - DVD!!!!!!!!!!
Is it better than the Modern Drummer version of the YMC show? Cuz that show blows. No groove whatsoever. I don't know if they couldn't hear one another or what, but that's the perfect demonstration of how NOT to play songs.

I've never seen the Modern Drummer...But I'll assume they're 2 different shows. Modern Drummer was first, in Montreal...if I'm not mistaken. YMC DVD is at BB King in NYC...and it's flawless considering they rehearsed only 2 days....Day 1 they assigned singing parts...Day 2 they played.

Re: Yellow Matter Custard - DVD!!!!!!!!!!
I think whats on the Modern Drummer dvds are two songs from the whole real (only) show...
Still, maybe you just dont like it (your loss :P), but the show in cd is awesome

Re: Yellow Matter Custard - DVD!!!!!!!!!!
Thx. I heard the same. Wonder why it didn't happen. Maybe Page and Plant don't want to do the licensing.
