American made Fender Lead I vintage 1981 with original tolex Fender HSC
She's a hardtail string thru, single humbucker splitable. Can sound like a Tele or strat. Transparent red finish with ash body. For a 26 year old guitar this was not played that much. It has a few dings, nothing much, there was a wear through spot on the lower rear, I touched up looks very good now. There's a small ding on the back of the neck, looks like she was leaned up against an amp instead of a stand. There may be an issue with the series/parallel switch on it, I've not seen it do anything, reading the manual availale on fender's website, it says it only works when both coils are in use. Honestly I don't know if that switch works or not. The neck and fretboard are maple and glossy finished and are starting to get that nice yellowing. I got it from the original owner. I would love to keep it but I have bills.
