F/S; My sweet G&L Legacy (strat)

See and hear it here.

http://www.youtube.com/MrDarinWarren

This is a rare Mary Kay model with birds eye maple neck. I have looked, just to see, and I haven't seen another one like this since I bough it 8 years ago. Excellent cond.

Paid $1100. Will sacrifice for $600 out of desperation. Rich has a unit I got my eyes on.

call me on my cell 717 448 1544 Darin

Re: F/S; My sweet G&L Legacy (strat)

Awesome playing. I would bu yit in a second if there was any way to avoid taxes/shipping, i.e. a friend travelling over - either way - or something...

If you know anyone who's flying to the UK and will carry this over, I'll take it!

is the shipping or the taxes the prob. I don't know anything about overseas sales.

Re: F/S; My sweet G&L Legacy (strat)

Both!

The taxes would be about $150, at least, and the shipping would be about $160.

The only way round it that I can think of is to take the neck off and send it, and declare a low value. However, if anything hapens to it, I lose out on the insurance :s.

Unless there happened to be anyone on Jemsite coming over to the UK...?

Hold on a second clonetool, whilst he could PM for these questions, they are valid and just that... questions relating to the sale.

Glen, the mods and I are here to make those kind of posts.

Re: F/S; My sweet G&L Legacy (strat)

Darin - there seem to be several different 'Legacy' models. Which one is yours?

Also, what's the finish on the neck? Gloss...?

Sent you PM, too.

Um, Sorry, I don't know what model it is. Look at the pics and maybe the serial number will help ya. The neck is glossy. Like it was dipped in a bucket of gloss.

Got your PM. Can't budge on price. Would be willing to ship it in more than one box though. You'd be wise to insure it for full value either way. Not sure how to get around the extra expenses you'd have. But if you find a way, let me know.

I emailed G&L tech. Perhaps they can tell me what model it is.

Legacy
http://www.glguitars.com/instruments...?prcode=Legacy

Legacy Deluxe
http://www.glguitars.com/instruments...e=LegacyDeluxe

Legacy Special
http://www.glguitars.com/instruments...=LegacySpecial

I'd have to say as far as what model mine is. I think it's just Legacy.

Please don't ban me for this. Here is a similar unit on the bay for price comparison purposes. 370005660344 If it's stretching the rules, can you just pull this line out of this post?

BTW: My pick guard was replaced. They come singly ply, I think the one I had put on is 3 ply.
