I didn't think that I would ever sell her but, if I can get $2,250 for her (USPS Money Order or PayPal Personal Payment so there are no fees to me and this price includes FedEx Ground shipping to CONUS) I will sell her!
1989 Ibanez Vinnie Moore Signature VM1SH with its original Ibanez VM1000C wood and tolex hardshell case (that was specifically made for this model). The guitar is all original and in excellent condition 9 out of 10. It comes with its trem arm, case key and even its warranty card (with the serial # on it). The case is also in excellent condition and all of the latches work beautifully. I had purchased this guitar from the original owner who had bought her new in 1990. The guitar sold new in 1990 for $1,300 plus $120 for the VM1000C case.
This is one of the rarest production Ibanez guitars out there! Since only 50 were made during the limited two year run (1987 - 1989). 25 were made in White - VM1WH and 25 were made in Splatter Paint or as Ibanez called it " Splash " finish - VM1SH. Here are the guitars' specs:
- Selected Honduras Mahogany Body
- All Access Neck Joint (one of the first if not the first Ibanez guitar to feature this)
- 1 Piece Maple Neck
- Ebony Fretboard
- 22 Medium Frets
- 2 DiMarzio Double Whammy Humbucker Pickups
- 1 Volume and One Tone Control, both with Push Pull " Duo Sound Tap " feature
- Three-way pickup selector blade switch
- Strat style input jack
- Edge II Tremolo with No fine tuners and No locking nut (the first and I believe the only production Ibanez guitar to feature this)
- Sperzel Locking Tuners (also the first and I believe the only production Ibanez guitar to feature this)
I will take pictures of the guitar and post them on my Photobucket page. Please e-mail me at
slavic@optonline.net if you are interested in purchasing this guitar. This is a very rare opportunity to get one of these hard to find and amazing guitars...
Thanks!
