Apologies for opening up a new thread on this guitar. I had it for sale here, but closed the original thread when I tried to sell this on e-bay. A new member used the Buy It Now, but then he never paid and unfortunately no one else could bid on it. So I'm trying to avoid the bay and I'm going to put it on here again.
Up for sale is this original 1991 Ibanez PGM100JB. It's in very good condition with just five noticable dings on the lower contour of the body where it sits on the lap. The original humbucker pickups were replaced with newer PAF Pros because the old ones went microphonic. I replaced the electronics plate with a different plate to preserve Paul Gilbert's signature. As you can see in one of the pictures, I still have the original electronics plate with his signature and will include it in the sale. The Edge trem is in excellent condition as you can see. There are no neck joint cracks and only limited wear on the headstock. There is one slight ding on the back of the neck, but while I can see it and feel it when I look for it, I don’t notice it when I play. The only other slight problem is that a previous owner took a sticker off the back of the body with a brillo pad and it dulled the finish as you can see. In the right light, it's barely even noticeable, but it is there. Otherwise, the face of the guitar is super clean and vibrant, which is what everyone sees anyway.
This is a great guitar, but I’m trying to thin my collection of signature models for right now. I tend to go back and forth on signature models. I’m only asking $950 shipped OBO. That's less than half of what you'd have to pay for one of the new Ibanez Reissues!
I'm really looking to sell, but will consider certain trade offers, particularly USA Jacksons or USA and/or J Custom Ibanez guitars. Also, I might be willing to trade for a less expensive guitar like an RG550 or 770, etc., plus cash. But keep in mind that I will need cash on my end. Please let me know if you have any questions!
