FS: B52 AT 100 Tri-mode rectifier

I've decided to part with my B52 At-100 3 channel head. It's basically a mesa boogie triple rectifier 1/4 the price! Cosmetically, took the ugly aluminum off, took off the back and put it in as the front with the B52 logo (not permanently fixed, needs to be epoxied/glued on). Took the grill from the aluminum and put it on as the back (needs cleaning, don't know how to clean epoxy and i'm too lazy!). Looks good methinks! Has road wear, HAS been gigged and used etc! Will include all the original parts etc. Footswitch included. It's been serviced and modified by Glen Morris of morrisamps.com as it has had overheating problems.

Specifically:
- Class A didn't work after a while, sort of burnt out
- Power/standby toggle switches would get hot to the touch!

All of which are now cured, this amp is 100%
I've spent over $200 to get it to be so rock solid! The At-100 is designed by bruce egnator and assembled and built in china via B52. They are infamously known for poor reliability, and so I have spent the extra $$$ to remedy all the known problems with this specific head! It's more durable and sturdy than from the factory!! This is a THUNDEROUS head! Asking $600CAD or best offer plus shipping and 3% paypal.

Re: FS: B52 AT 100 Tri-mode rectifier

Just a heads up. I have the 2x12 version and eventually they started installing a small fan that blows on the rectifier/power tubes/ transformer side. If you called them up they would mail it out to you free of charge. This was to solve the overheating/ running hot problem. Its kinda noisy and think they only did this on the 2x12 version due to the lack of air circulation back there but I have not had one problem with the amp in the year of having it and playing out. Mine came with it already installed since it was a late 06 model. Mine doesn't get very hot.

I've also heard alot of people advise on not usuing it in the class A setting due to the idle voltages and the heat it produces, it also is said to lessen the life of your power tubes and rectifier. I always in either A/B or solid state.

My reverb still works to this day and the repairs to fix the class A setting seems to be permanent, I've been playing it only in class A to this day with no probs!

btw, bump, put it up on evilbay:
