FS: Dillion acrylic V with floyd rose, #7 of 8 made
For sale my Dillion DRR-FR-CA, the # 7 of only 8 that were made in 2005. A very rare guitar but I’m not using it live anymore so it’s time to get rid of it. Maybe someone will be interested in this collector’s item.
Not to be confused with those crappy $100 acrylic guitars for sale in the evil-bay.
Specs:
- Maple neck, rosewood fretboard, 22 frets
- Clear acrylic body and headstock
- EMG 81 (bridge) and EMG 85 (neck) active pickups. Stock pickups are not included since I don’t keep them.
- Floyd rose licensed bridge.
- Jackson hardcase included.
It’s a very heavy guitar due to the acrylic body. As heavy as a Les Paul.
In the pics you can see a crack in the body near the neck pickup. It also has 2 more small cracks in the back of the body, probably made during the installation of the bridge studs. The cracks doesn’t affect stability but they are aesthetic defects. Also 4 of the 6 backplate screws are missing.
Otherwise the guitar is in very good condition: almost zero fretwear, no cracks in the headstock, neck is straight, no bridge pitting…
