The "Fender Special Run" (FSR) series represents a limited run of guitars with slight variations on a standard Fender guitar theme. In this case, Fender took an American Vintage '62 Tele (010-6200-854) and made a few changes to create a limited run for the FSR2005 model #9.
This guitar is by FAR the best playing/sounding Tele I've had (including a few Custom Shop Relics, etc). The SCN pickups maintain that classic Tele sound but give a little more power and NO noise. Great comfy action and a smokin' neck as well!
