FS/FT: Ibanez RG2820 CTTV

Hi Guys,

I have a lovely RG2820 CTTV for sale. As you probably know, this is a limited run 2003 prestige model with the J-Custom style tree of life inlay. Full specs as follows:

24 fret "Ultra" profile maple neck
Mahogany body w/quilt maple top
Rosewood 'board w/tree of life inlay in pearl and abalone
Matching headstock
DiMarzio/Ibz humbuckers
3-way switch (position 2 either taps both pickups or connects them in series, not quite sure on that one)
Edge Pro trem
Gotoh Tuners

While this is a 2003 model, I bought it new-old-stock from a dealer in 2004 and it's had about 2 hours playtime in total. About an hour of that involved giving the EP a thorough workout and, I have to say, the return to pitch on this one is just as good as the best of my Lo-Pro equipped guitars. This guitar has no build flaws whatsoever and is in the same condition it was in the day it left the factory (with the exception of a having had a pro-setup).

This is an amazing guitar and I love it, but I have relatively small hands and the neck is just too wide for my liking. If only they did a 24 fret JS neck with a vine inlay ;-)

Cash offers readily accepted, but if you have a JS1000 (any colour, any trem) you want to get rid of, then I'd be interested in a swap/trade.

Yeah, I'm really only interested in trading for a JS. The 3120, like the 2820, is a great guitar, but the neck profiles just don't feel like home. The JS neck is by far the most comfortable I've ever played.
