Don't short change yourself. PC1's have the $900 Jackson sustainer not that crap Sustaniac.

Re: FS/FT Jackson PC1
Francelj said that the "sustaniac works like a charm" in his listing above. Jackson PC1's have the Jackson sustainer that roughly costs ~ $900. If you go to Jacksonguitars.com and use the
custom shop
order form, you'll see the price on the sheet. I think the Sustaniac sells for under $200 IIRC.

Re: FS/FT Jackson PC1
LOL @ $900 for a sustainer. If that were true and customers spent like that ($900 sustainer in $800 guitar), you can bet the farm Ibanez would be offering sustainers in JEMs already

As we all know the prices from the
Jackson custom shop
completely out of proportion. Isn't the Jackson sustainer in the PC1 just the old Kramer sustainer?

Re: FS/FT Jackson PC1
Just because Jackson vastly over-charge for 'their' Sustainer doesn't mean the Sustainiac is crap. Far from it in fact!

Re: FS/FT Jackson PC1
Up to $960, I hate inflation. All I'll say about the quality of the Jackson sustainer is that it works in all 5 pickup positions...

Re: FS/FT Jackson PC1
yes it works in all 5 positions. When i wrote sustaniac i thought that this is common name for all sustainers. I did some research over internet and i see difference now. That sustainer really works great. When first switch is activated very natural feedback is produced at any volume when you hold one tone and without any noticable difference in sound, when you activate second it that sustain goes up for octave or two (i don't remember exactly). I must tell that guitar is perfect built. I've never been huge fan of Jacksons (i don't like pointy Jackson's headstocks,....) but that one catched my eye. Also I like neck. It's noticeably fatter than RG's wizard neck (kinda similar to strat's with less radius ) and unfinished....I am in process to sell all of my floyd equiped guitars, so that one also must go.Probably is not interesting for US market, because of price, but for potential european trader or buyer is price very fair. It costs almost 2800euros in Musik-produktiv.de and mine is in new condition. In two years it spent most of time in it's case.
