Workbench allows you to change tunings, puts single coils on jazz boxes, make
custom guitars like a les paul with a lipstick pickup in the neck and a single coil in the bridge, etc.. Then tune it down to A or what ever..
I have one bank on the 5 way like this.. E tuning in position 1, Eb in position 2, Drop D in position 3, B tuning in position 4, A tuning in position 5.. This lets me play all sorts of music with out having to resetup or ever change a guitar.. And all with out touching the
tuning pegs.
