FS/FT: Various gear (guitars, etc.)

Make sure to check back on this thread because I may have some other stuff to put on at a later date (don't e-mail me asking what though, I'm not sure yet.)

Going to have a shuffle around so here is what's available. Everything has a price, but I'm definitely interested in trades!

All guitars have just had a fret crown and level and full pro setup so they're all able to get really nice low action (expecially the RG350MDX which is ludicrously low!) they don't have cases though so I'll take the necks off for safer shipping.

First off, an RG3EX1QM. This is practically mint with no damage visible to my eye, it's loaded with DiMarzio Air Norton and Tone Zone pickups and again has had the frets levelled and a pro setup meaning it plays great! Ask anyone that owns one of these and they'll tell you the same, it may be Indonesian but you will be suprised at what a nice instrument it is, especially after a proper setup and with some top-notch pickups. Cool quilt top and matching headstock! - £260

Next, an RG350MDX. This is mint aside from some fine scratches on the pickguard. Again, full pro setup and it has super-low action... some very slight birds-eye'ing on the fretboard too! Just a really sweet guitar for not much cash - £230

Last guitar is an OLP MM1. Basically it's brand new but picked up a scratch on it's travels... that scratch being on the front of the guitar though I'm sure a little bit of patience and the right tools could patch it up. I had nothing but time-wasters on e-bay with this one because I put the price that low to get a quick sale, but it just attracted people that have never played before and good god is it a headache to deal with these people. One guy asked to come and try it out and then after wasting a good 20 minutes trying all the frets out (seriously... and after telling him I had to be in work no-less) pulls a sat-nav out and asks for a swap, so he had no intention of ever paying cash... WTF?! Anyway, if you're after a cool Van Halen guitar that plays well and has suprisingly good pickups for not much money then this hit the nail on the head - £120 for a quick sale.

Lastly, a bunch of Lick Library guitar tuition DVDs, 6 in total which are as follows:

Ultimate Guitar Techniques: Fretburning Blues Runs with Danny Gill

Ultimate Guitar Techniques: Shredding with Arpeggios with Danny Gill

Ultimate Guitar Techniques: Sweep picking with Stuart Bull

Guitar Aerobics (Advanced) with Danny Gill

Essential Guitar Practice Routines: Alternate Picking with Danny Gill

Learn to play: Steve Vai Volume 2 with Guthrie Govan and Dave Kilminster
All those discs are mint with the exception of the Steve Vai one which has a few minor surface marks but plays fine. Blame that on the case not being suitable for 2 DVDs, I'll tape them in place though for shipping so they're nice and secure - £30 for 2 or £75 for the lot (not bad considering they cost me over £20 each!)

Ok, like I say, trades on practically any gear (I'm open-minded) are most definitely welcome, especially on early Japanese Ibanez stuff (I don't mind adding cash either if the deal is right.) Shipping in the UK will be £20 on the guitars and £3.50 on 2 DVDs or £5 for the lot. Anyone from other countries, have a look at www.royalmail.co.uk and www.parcelforce.com to price you own shipping because that'll be who I'm using (Parcelforce for guitars, Royal Mail for DVDs.)

Pics to follow!

Here are some of the OLP. It still has the protective wrapping on the back covers and the scratch I mentioned earlier is highlighted next to an AAA battery since it's a similar length:

Re: FS/FT: Various gear (guitars, etc.)

^^ Thinking about it if you were to do a Van-Halen with it and cover it in stripes of tape you could cover the scratch ^^

Here is a photo I found online of the RG350MDX. No point in me taking a load of pictures of it (unless you want me to?) because like I say it's mint aside from the minor pick-wear on the scratchplate:

Could I get some pics of the RG3EX1QM please?

You can e-mail them to me if you prefer, rather than post 'em up.

I tried taking these with the flash on and off to give you a better look at it. Anyway, here are pics of the RG3EX1QM:

Bugger, pressed post before I was finished, damn tapping motion on my laptop.

The thought process when I bought the RG3EX1QM was to actually get some F-hole decals and do a 'sort of' version of Paul Gilbert's orange PGM. Nothing stopping anyone else from doing that

Re: FS/FT: Various gear (guitars, etc.)

RG3EX1QM has gone to the bay because I could with cash as opposed to a swap and the RG350MDX will be going later today too.

So the OLP and the DVDs are left. As far as the DVDs go, we'll keep that to UK only because I can't be doing with the hassle of if it doesn't play on your region player, etc.

Re: FS/FT: Various gear (guitars, etc.)

Thread re-opened due to the absolute lack of people willing to part with money on e-bay. Seriously, you could offer a winning lottery ticket and you still wouldn't get a buy on there at the moment, everybody is skint!

That said, if anyone has any trades on either the RG3EX1QM or the OLP let me know. I can't get across how good the RG3EX1QM is for an Indonesian guitar and I don't really want to part with it, but I'm starting to get overun with red guitars now (as stupid as it sounds) and it's either this, an RG750 or an RG770DX... hmmm... which would you sell? lol.

The RG350MDX got sold BTW.

Re: FS/FT: Various gear (guitars, etc.)

OLP is gone.

RG3EX1QM is the only one left. I'd like to trade my ruby red RG750 for another RG7** series in a different colour, but that's an idea for another time I think. Not too fussed for now.
