I started this project almost two years ago, and the only thing I needed was the neck. I was holding out for a Musikraft Charvel spec neck, but money matters just didn't allow me the extra money in the budget, and I've grown tired of it just sitting there, unassembled, so here it is:

I went through great pains to reinforce the treble-side trem post hole. What you see is a steel reinforcement plate, mounted with three splayed mounting screws, and high-bond adhesive, so it is NOT blowing out (remember, this was to be my personal guitar, so I was making certain this was rock-solid). the pickguard is cut and modified to replicate the knob placement of the original Green Meanie. The trem recess was routed and reinforced for plenty of pull-up, with structural rigidity, intact. I did not opt for the Lion's Claw or deeper recessed lower horn, as I did not care about these options. My point was not to make an EXACT replica.

Here are the add-ons: Double locking Licensed
Floyd Rose trem, with braced trem posts (remember, rigidity.

) and
locking nut (in the bag), oval Charvel-style jackplate and jack, strap knobs, black dome knobs, 5-way toggle, neckplate, and Fender single coil, for the middle position. I have a set of Dimarzio / Ibanez Infinity humbuckers that were to go in the bridge and neck poisition that are not show, but will be added to the sale. Notice, there IS a mixture of chrome and black hardware, and that is because the original Green Meanie was a mish-mash of thos parts, and I wanted to keep with that theme.
The body was shot, using the same rattle can technique that Steve used on the original, with one exception. I added clearcoats to it, to help protect the base finish. This has been setting up, drying, for almost a year, now, so it is absolutely dry. The top surface is slightly rough, and unsanded and buffed, but so was the Green meanie, so you can either keep it that way, for trueness, or wet-sand and buff it out.
Now, the price: I am selling all that you see, plus the added two pickups, plus the added screws and whatnot (you didn't think the neckplate was just gonna stay on, by itself, did ya?) for $150, plus shipping. That means if you spend the extra $250 or so for a nice neck, and assemble it all, you get a pretty nice Green Meanie for roughly $400. Not too shabby, I'd say (I just don't have $250 to plunk down on a neck, or else I'd be doing it!). If you wanna say "Nah, I just want the body and pickguard", I'll sell those, together for $90, plus shipping. I'd just like to see this all go to good use. Feel free to ask for more pics or details. Thanks!
