FS: Ibanez 540R w/ LED inlays & 3tone paint

One of a kind Custom Ibanez 540 Radius,
Made in the late 80's-early 90's as the Pre-Satriani guitars, this is the line that started Joe Satriani into Fame.

This started life as parts from high quality instrument part dealers. And has been Custom painted with 3 tone paint that changes from Purple, to Gold, to green. Depending on the angle the light hits it.
Featuring a:
- Fernandes FSK-401 sustainer kit in the Neck pickup
- DiMarzio Chopper (hot rails) Single coil in the middle,
- And lastly a powerful DiMarzio Evolution (Steve Vai Signature) pickup in the Bridge.

Equipped with an Edge-Pro Floyd Rose Tremolo and an Ibanez Trem-stop (prevents detuning when bending strings or breaking strings) Purchased from Dave Weiner (Steve Vai's Backing Guitarist).

Lastly, a Custom Inlay covering the 11th-13th frets, a Celtic knot. With LED inlays at frets 1,3,5,7,9,12(x2),15,17,19,21 which cycle changing from RED to BLUE to GREEN, MAGENTA, ORANGE, CYAN etc. made by Christopher Woods and featured on his website under LED's www.christopherwoods.com

This one off guitar is a killer machine ready to be rocked!

NOTE: Comes with a Coffin Hardcase and bright green DiMarzio Clip-Lock strap. Will include extra parts i got when getting this put together.

Will ship internationally at buyers cost.
the Coffin case is considered "oversize" so shipping is pretty costly.

It is playable yes, It just needs to be setup(eg. a general setup) as i don't play it at all anymore.

There's a small noise from the LED's when they change colour. I've talked to Christopher woods about it. He suggested shielding the wires that run underneeth the pickups.. or just sending him the neck to replace them with a solid colour which doesnt cause any electrical interference.
the sustainer works, but i think it needs a new battery as it has started cutting out a tiny bit.

the best pickup is the Neck(sustainer in off mode) and the Hot Rails(DiMarzio Chopper).. some more work could be done to this guitar. eg. a professional setup etc..

I'm waiting to hear back from Christopher Woods in regards to the neck's noise..
I'll keep you updated. If this doesn't sell in the next month, then I'm just going to have to keep it.

Taking this off the market for now, I'm having a battery cavity routed int he back, and I'm still trying to get Chris to fix the neck.
