This is a 2004 LA Custom Shop 7-String Ibanez guitar that was made for Dave Fiuczynski (go to
www.torsos.com to hear some of his cool music). This guitar is unlike any other Ibanez 7 string. Here are the features:
Serial#: LA082404
Body: Korina body, Flamed Maple top, cream binding
Neck: Korina with bubinga reinforcement strip, rosewood fretboard (seemingly picked to match the body color),
Sperzel locking tuners, jumbo frets
Bridge: This has what I like to call the "Matte Henderson-style 7-string bridge". The top 6 strings are on a 2-point trem bridge, the 7th string is fixed. This gives the low string better tone and it makes it easy to drop it down a step without disturbing the tuning of the other strings.
Pickups: 59-7 neck, JB-7 bridge,
Seymour Duncan custom 7-string single pickup, wound to give a vintage single-string sound.
Electronics: Typical 5-way switch. Bridge volume (also push-pull split for bridge pickup), Neck volume (also push-pull split for neck pickup), Middle volume, and master tone.
Sound: If I could pick one word to describe how this guitar sounds, it would be "creamy".
This is a great guitar, but 7-strings aren't my main thing and I just picked up an RG1077XL, which I prefer due to the longer scale (27" versus 25.5"). So this has to go. I'm looking for $1500 shipped (money order or PayPal accepted) in the original Ibanez hardshell case. I'm not interested in trades right now unless you have a Hamer Studio with a Floyd or Baker with a trem (which would of course require me to kick in money). Price is negotiable.

Feel free to contact me at atquinn1975 AT yahoo DOT com for more pictures or if you have any questions. I'm on **** as "Quinley" and I have all positive feedback (all on guitars or guitar-related stuff), so don't be afraid to make a deal. Thanks. -Austin
