FS: Jackson SL4 Red Ghost Flames, $500 SHIPPED!

I am offering for sale my Jackson SL4, which I call an SL4-1H because it has been modified to a 1H configuration. This axe started life as a black SL4, but as you can see, it is now a 1H rocker with Red Ghost Flames finish and a direct-mount EMG, along with aluminum diamond plate trem, electronics and truss rod covers.

Please note that, while you can't tell in the pic, you CAN see the outline where the neck pickup was in real life. You would not be able to tell from a few feet away, but you CAN tell when you're holding it. Also, it does NOT have a bound fretboard. What you see in the pic is adhesive automotive pinstripe. Finally, since these pics were taken, I stripped the finish off the back of the neck, so it is now natural (and slick as Hell). This guitar is not a showpiece, but it looks very cool (IMO) and also sounds crushing. It would be a fantastic stage guitar. I am only selling it because I got overextended buying 2 JEMs in 1 week (oops).

I do not have a case for this axe, but I will pack it very carefully. I am offering it for $500 SHIPPED within the lower 48 states. I do not ship outside the US (sorry). I will accept a USPS money order or PayPal, and I will eat the fees.

I have had a few questions, so I thought I would post some more detailed info. and close-up pics.

After stripping the neck, I applied MinWax Satin Poly to it. It is polyurethane, so it's protective, but it feels extremely smooth and almost unfinished.

The guitar was painted with automotive paint. The clear coat is smooth and shiny, but it's not perfect. It has some imperfections (orange peel, faint metallic overspray in the black in one place, etc.), but you have to look closely to see them. I don't think I could get them to show up in photos.

Also, when I treated the line between the painted body and the unpainted neck with superglue to prevent the paint from ever chipping, some sanding dust got into it, which looks kind of white in color. That, you can see in the pics.
