FS JS 1000 White with case $1,100.

Guitar is in good shape but is used. I am not the original owner. The original owner made a mess of the strap button area. I’ve taken the original buttons off and used Schallers and had to fill the holes with a toothpick when I did that. To sell I’ve taken off the Schallers and left the holes empty showing how both have paint chipped off down to the wood around them. However, with a felt strap button on you can not see this finish issue. I can only find one of the original strap buttons….unfortunately. The saddles on the bridge and the poles on the bridge pick-up have a fair amount of rust/ corrosion on them. The frets are in need of polishing too in my opinion. Basically, I’d take it to a good set-up person and have it gone over if I was playing it, but I’m not…the whammy bar bridge just isn’t for me (and I found a JS 1600 that covers me for my JS “needs.”) There is also an approximately 2” scratch on the back between the trem cover to the neck plate…I couldn’t really capture it in the pictures. It’s a surface scratch and does not go through the paint so it’s cosmetic only.

Sounds like a lot I guess but I want to make sure I’m giving full disclosure here. Outside of these cosmetic issues (which are either hidden or dealt with via a pro set-up) the guitar is in good shape. No significant fret wear or other issues. The case is MINT. Comes with 2 trem bars with 2 nylon pieces installed and an unused set of 2 nylon pieces.

I've taken this guitar to my tech and had it set up and cleaned. Plays great now....nice low & even action across the fretboard. Installed Schaller strap buttons, had the frets and surface rust polished off. Ouside of the scratch on the back the guitar looks and plays great.

It makes me cry when you guys sell guitars like this for $800, if it wasn't for import tax / VAT and shipping costs I'd take this off your hands in no time.
